Engineering Art On Display

We’re delighted to have taken delivery of a set of eight posters produced by the School of Engineering at the University of Lincoln and the Industrial Archaeology Group at the Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology (SLHA).

The A1 posters, which celebrate Lincolnshire’s engineering heritage, were designed as part of the University’s opening of the new Sir Isaac Newton Building.

As well as presenting us with a set of posters, the Industrial Archaeology Group also attended our Open Day on 24th April to talk to attendees about Lincolnshire’s industrial heritage.

Paul Batterbury, interim principal, received the posters, from Eric Newton and Chris Lester, Chairman of the Industrial Archaeology Group at the SLHA (Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology).
The posters, which have been funded by Siemens, are now displayed around the UTC for all of our students to see and look fantastic!
