Next week we hold our Awards Evening. We are grateful to our sponsors and partners who last year contributed trophies and this year will be re-presenting these to worthy students. The Awards Evening, to be held on Monday 10 July, celebrates our Year 10 and Year 12 students, their achievements and success.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, we have held two excellent Induction Days for our new students. There were a great success and numbers are buoyant. The students were calm, engaged and enthusiastic. We also hosted what seemed like a million primary children. In fact about 40 came and had a great science and space day with our science team. Today I met other primary schools and we are planning more science days whilst rooms are unused during the post-exam season. We have done some visits too with Physics and Raspberry Pi training featuring.
Examination results are ready for Year 10 and 12 students; reports are going home in the last week of term. Year 13 and Year 11 students have dates in their diaries for August and we are looking forward to results’ days.
The summer holiday will soon be upon us and I am grateful to Lincoln UTC for all the hard work they are doing now and in the holidays to prepare for next year.
