In celebration with the University of Lincoln, today our Year 12 students took part in one of their Great Minds Public Lectures. Lincoln UTC joined in exploring the heritage of science to launch what has been and continues to be a great year for science at the University of Lincoln – following a new addition to the faculty as well as the launch of new courses. It has been a dramatic expansion to Science and Engineering this year at the University and as a pathway to commemorate this Lincoln University are setting to explore the heritage Lincolnshire has within this subject. Sir Isaac Newton, home grown in the Lincolnshire County is one of the greatest scientific minds relevant even today. Our students were able to learn about his History, delve into his mind and absorb the wonderful surroundings of the University of Lincoln.
