Time for a coffeeSeptember 11, 2015 11:39 am
As students left for the afternoon at sport. Staff at Lincoln UTC remained on site for afternoon of training and coffee with a twist. Mrs Doughty, head of careers and industrial partners, took the opportunity to invite new and key businesses into the afternoon session. To allow a networking opportunity for teachers and a key time to discuss the curriculum and wider projects.
Mrs Doughty said: “it was great to see so many business give up their time to spend with us on a curriculum planning session. It not only meant businesses could come in and see the new technologies that were here but it allowed us to reaffirm partnerships and develop existing links in key areas.
It was a huge success, businesses formed their own links with departments and new ideas about projects and challenges could be heard.
