Having joined Lincoln UTC in January 2016 as Vice Principal, before becoming Principal, I remain immensely proud of who we are, what we represent, and the opportunities we create for young people across Lincolnshire. After more than two decades in education, I continue to be inspired every day by the ambition of our students and the dedication of colleagues who make Lincoln UTC such a distinctive and forward-thinking place to learn.

Our school combines outstanding facilities with an exceptional learning environment. Students benefit from industry-standard equipment, specialist laboratories, and workshops, all within the character and history of our Grade II listed building, complemented by our £9 million Science and Engineering Centre.

Students choose to travel from across the county to join Lincoln UTC in Years 10 and 12 because they want something different: an education that combines academic excellence with technical and practical experience, rooted in the real world of science, engineering, and technology. Through strong partnerships with industry and employers, our students develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to succeed in rapidly evolving sectors.

At Lincoln UTC, we are committed to developing well-rounded young people who are confident, articulate, and ambitious. Our students learn to think independently, work collaboratively and approach challenges with creativity, resilience, and professionalism. Whether progressing to university, apprenticeships, or employment, they leave us exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their journey.

We place great importance on high standards, attention to detail and personal responsibility. Our students are encouraged to strive for excellence in everything they do, both inside and outside the classroom. As a result, Lincoln UTC graduates are highly regarded by universities and employers alike, recognised not only for their academic and technical abilities, but also for their maturity, character, and readiness for the workplace.

Choosing the right school or sixth form is one of the most important decisions a young person and their family will make. I hope our website gives you a sense of the exciting opportunities available at Lincoln UTC, but nothing compares to experiencing our school first-hand.

I warmly encourage you to visit us at one of our Open Days or events, where you will have the opportunity to meet our staff, speak with our students and see our unique learning environment in action.

Could your future begin at Lincoln UTC?
