Lincoln UTC admits students into Year 10 and Year 12. In each year group the UTC can admit up to 160 students. Applications for students starting in September will remain open throughout the year. For further advice on this please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
There are no academic requirements for entry into Year 10. Students must have passion and interest in Engineering and/or Science and a desire for a combination of practical, technical and academic modes of study. Due to the extended working day and high expectations held at the UTC, students must be fully committed to our method of working. All applicants are advised to attend an open event prior to applying to ensure they fully appreciate the opportunities available at the UTC.
Year 10 application forms for students living in Lincolnshire can be found here: UTC Y10 Application Form. Supporting notes are available here: LCC Applicants Letter. The application form should be downloaded, printed, hand written and posted directly to:

Lincolnshire County Council will process all applications. Please contact the UTC at email@example.com when you have applied to LCC so that we can advise you of the time frame for place allocation and keep you informed of important information.
If you chose to complete our online application form you must also complete the LCC form, sign it and post it to them to confirm your application.
All applicants will apply for one of Lincoln UTC’s three pathways. This enables students to study Engineering, Applied Science and/or a series of A Level qualifications. Specific pathways will be discussed with each individual student upon application.
The minimum entry requirements for Year 12 are 6 GCSEs grade 9-4, including English Literature, Mathematics and Additional Science. Each pathway has specific entry requirements, as shown in Curriculum 16-18. Please ensure you are able to meet the entry requirements for your chosen pathway before making an application.
Please complete the Post 16 application form online here.
Applications will be accepted throughout the academic year until all places are filled. On the last working day of every month, the applications received that month will be processed and applicants will be contacted within ten working days. At the point where all Year 12 places have been filled, applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
