BGU lecturer visit Tuesday 26th September

As part of our close relationship with Bishop Grosseteste University the students were lucky to have two visiting guest lecturers deliver a talk to our students.   

Dr Wahiba Toubal delivered a lecture on Mathematical concepts of black holes. The purpose of the lecture was to give the students an understanding that by working on mathematical problems related to black holes, they will enhance their understanding of several mathematical concepts such as graphical representation, function evaluation and ratios.   

The second lecture was delivered by Dr Claudia Capancioni on how to write a successful essay. The interactive session included top tips on improving essay writing covering a range of skills including structure, embedding quotations and writing style to discover what works well when constructing assignments.
