March 13, 2015 12:57 pm

A group of Lincoln UTC students walked into Chad Varah House a little early this morning ready for their day ahead at Stoke Rochford, Grantham. Seven students were in attendance at the Political Conference held and run by the Lincoln based charity EBP. The students were tasked with creating a political party, model and image, through varying workshops and activities. They were introduced to the importance of voting and understanding the democratic system we function within. To round off an action packed politically loaded day the students had a full question and answer session with a panel of politicians ranging from local seats through to County Council elective representatives. With election season in the air it was great to see the students digesting all the information and thinking of their own political agenda’s, maybe Cllr Little will have to heighten his campaign, he may have a few students after his seat in office over the next few years!
